Importing Customers

There are a couple of things to keep in mind before you start importing customers to your account: 

A. You can only upload a customer file in .CSV format. If your customer file is currently in .XLS or .XLSX format, then you will need to save it again as a .CSV file before you begin. 

B. Please make sure that first names and last names are in separate columns of your CSV file. 


You can now begin uploading customers by following the steps below: 

1.  Click on Customers in the main menu. 

Scroll down to the end of the Customers table. 

2.  To mass import the list of customers, click the Choose File button.

3.  In the file finder, select the CSV file of customers from your computer and click the Open button.

4.  Now click the blue  Import Customers.csv button.

5. You will now see a mapping screen asking you to assign the different columns of the CSV file to the different fields in the PatientSites' Customers section. Click on the dropdown next to each of the column names to select the appropriate fields. 

6. You can also select a group towards the right of the mapping screen (only visible when you have already created groups). Customers will then be assigned to the group(s) selected at the time of upload. 

7. Select the checkbox above the blue import customers button. This tells the system if these new customers have provided you permission to send them marketing emails. 

8. Now click on the blue Import .csv into DB button.
