How to use operator buttons

Operator buttons are designed to allow you to manage chats in a more efficient way. These buttons are mainly used for chat management but some of them may also trigger certain actions based on which button you select.

There are four different kinds of operator buttons that you may want to use regularly:

1) FUP: The follow up button should only be activated when a chat visitor has agreed to a follow up call or message from your team. This button requires that the user has a location assigned to them (in case of multi-location clinics) - but it will also trigger the location selection box if the user has not already selected a location.

2) Location: The location button should be used when you want to ask the user to pick a location that is closest to them. This button triggers a location selection box that will include all your clinic locations, and the user can then pick one from the dropdown list. Please note that the chatbot will trigger this box automatically when a user decides to request an appointment or consultation.

3) New: The new button can be used to mark a visitor as a new patient or customer. While the chatbot will ask the user for this information at the beginning of the conversation, you may run into a situation where the user does not wish to interact with the chatbot. In such a case, you'll want to take over the chat manually and ask the user if they are a new or existing patient. Once you find out, you can click the New or Existing buttons to select accordingly.

4) Existing: The existing button can be used to mark a visitor as an existing patient or customer. This functions in the same way as the New button.
