How To Add The Alert Bar On Your Website

If you are unable to watch the video, follow the steps listed below:

1) Log into your PatientSites Web Editor at client.patientsites.com

2) Go to Settings, and in the Website submenu's dropdown, select Configuration

3) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Activate the Bar option to display an alert bar of your choice on the website.

4) Use the Short Text box to add the text you want the alert bar to display. 

5) Use the URL text box to add a link to redirect people to the page with the information you are alerting people on.
You can also choose to not include a "See More" link in the Alert bar. In this case, check the "Hide See More link" box.

6) Choose the alert box background and text colour from the Colours options.

7) Once you're done, click the green Save Changes button to ensure the Alert bar is displayed on the website. 
NOTE: You may need to clear your browser cache to see the bar initially
