How To Add Text To A Webpage (Drag-and-Drop Editor)
Adding text to a Webpage is fairly simple. Just follow the steps below:
1) Log in to PatientSites Web Editor at client.patientsites.com

2) Click on Content in the main menu and navigate to the Pages submenu.

3) On the Left-most side under “Company Content” you’ll see your website’s pages listed. Click on the one you’d like to edit.

4) There’s two ways of adding text to a page: with a pre-formatted Text Section or an un-formatted Text Element.
Note: There is a version for each that suit light and dark backgrounds.
a) Text Section: If you want to have your text box already be formatted to fit your page well, on the left of the Page Editor, click the second icon to open Sections.

Click Text, then click and drag the Text Section into the Page Editor, and place it where you’d like to add the text. Note: a green line will appear to signal where you’d dropping the new pre-formatted text section
If you want to extend this section, you can create a duplicate text box by simply clicking the Paper icon in the blue toolbar that appears above the text box when you click into it.

b) Text Element: If you want to format your text and your page yourself, on the left side of the Page Editor click the + icon that opens up the Elements list.

Click Text, then click and drag the Text element into the Page Editor, and place it where you’d like to add the image. Note: a green line will appear to signal where you’d dropping the new element.
You can choose to drag in simple text, list items with bullet points, linked text, rich text and text dividers.

5) Additional text formatting is available on the right side of the Page Editor under Text; and if you toggle advanced mode settings by clicking the Gear icon on the top of the page editor, you’ll see even more options for text styling and formatting.
Keyboard shortcuts for bold, italic, underline, etc also work when editing your text.
